red bull flugtag 2008. the flugtag is an event in which competitors attempt to fly in homemade flying machines, which are usually launched off a pier into the sea, or a suitably sized reservoir of water. most competitors enter for the entertainment value, since the contraptions rarely fly at all. what a waste!!
